Film directors in top ten

Two Colac district filmmakers are leading the Victorian charge in a national competition worth $180,000.

Alex White grew up in Colac and graduated from Colac College in 2004. He studied public relations at Geelong's Deakin University and graduated in 2008 before moving to Sydney for six months on a "working holiday". Alex has been a journalist at The Colac Herald since July 2010 and specialises in feature writing as well as general news.
