Square’s trees pose festival threat

Colac’s civic leaders have sparked safety concerns about the city’s elm trees after advising stall holders against setting up beneath the historic elms.

Crowds gathered along Colac’s Murray Street for the 54th annual Kana Festival Parade. Saturday’s bug-themed festival featured a parade down Murray Street of 22 floats from Colac and district schools, businesses and community groups and 61 stalls and activities at Colac’s Memorial Square.
