Reward to help find missing man

Missing Geelong man Daniel O'Keeffe

DANIEL O’Keeffe went missing from the Geelong area more than two weeks ago and there have been at least 10 unconfirmed sightings of Mr O’Keeffe in Colac and district in the time since his July 15 disappearance.

Mr O’Keeffe’s family had started a website and plan to offer a reward to help find the 24-year-old.

“We hope the reward will focus attention on Dan’s disappearance and provide an incentive for anyone who has information but may have their own reasons for not coming forward,” Mr O’Keeffe’s father Desmond said.

The family has also hired a private investigator and started a social media campaign.

Mr O’Keeffe was last seen wearing a grey hoodie and ugg boots.

His family described him as 183 centimtres tall with brown hair, although they said he might have changed his appearance.

Anyone who sees Mr O’Keeffe should call 000 and more information about Daniel is available at

National Missing Persons Week starts today.
