Trinity College’s Emily Colvin and Colac Secondary College’s Jaimie Audsley are busy studying for their exams in November.

COLAC and district Year 12 students are starting to feel the heat as exams draw closer.

Colac’s Emily Colvin and Elliminyt’s Jaimie Audsley are preparing to sit their end-of-year exams in November.

It is five weeks until exams start and both girls say they “can’t wait” for them to be over.

Emily said she was “looking forward to not having to stress”.

She said she had been using her holidays to study for maths.

“I’ve just been doing what I can then having a break and then doing a bit more,” she said.

Jaimie said she was yet to start her exam homework.

“I’m a little bit worried but I’m planning on cramming,” she said.

“I’ve been working a lot over the holidays.”

Emily is studying physical education, English, biology, further maths and psychology at Trinity College and described Year 12 as “the best year of my life”.

Jaimie is studying physical education, English, further maths and outdoor education at Colac Secondary College.

“I’m planning on taking a gap year next year and working my way into the police force,” she said.

Both Emily and Jaimie look forward to “spending time with friends” when their exams are over.
