A LUXURY hotel company and a shire council say a planned $20 million resort on the Great Ocean Road would create jobs in the region.

Yer maybe it will they should wait a while longer before deciding
The area around the 12 Apostles has remained virtually untouched since the dawn of time (apart from access roads, walking tracks and toilet facilities) so, if this development goes ahead the very character of the region will be changed forever. It’s this character that has attracted millions of sightseeings over the past century or so.
Anyone crazy enough to toy with the unique landscapes formed here may find that the area will lose much of it’s appeal as people are turned off by the construction of a large hotel which is not in keeping with the ambience of the current environment.
