Colac siblings Jack, 9, Patrick, 12, and Kate Allan, 10, trialled Otways artist Brian Worsley’s bubble-making wands to create giant bubbles ahead of his workshops at Colac Otway Performing Arts and Cultural Centre this week.

OTWAYS artist Brian Worsley is challenging Colac and district bubble lovers to fill a hall with bubbles.

Worsley has made about 60 bubble wands and will lead a Bubble Play workshop at Colac Otway Performing Arts and Cultural centre for children and “big grown up kids” of all ages on Thursday and Friday.

“I have some giant bubble wands that can create bubbles one metre across, if not bigger, and can create some fantastic shapes,” Worsley said.

“We can make a giant bubble big enough to be able to stand in it, and bubbles within bubbles,” he said.

“Everyone that comes along can blow bubbles, the aim is to try and fill the civic hall with bubbles.”

Bubble Play workshops are from midday to 4pm, with a gold coin donation for entry.
