THOUSANDS of people lined Colac’s main street to celebrate the 58th Kana Festival and the community’s love of gardens.
Colac Primary School was among the Colac and district schools which embraced the 2015 Colac Kana Festival theme “How Does Your Garden Grow?” The school’s float featured giant pumpkins grown in the school garden. The theme complemented the Colac Botanic Gardens’ 150th anniversary which the city celebrates this year. Turn to page 6 for more photographs of Saturday’s Kana parade along Colac’s Murray Street.
