  1. Yes, I’ve now moved my medical treatment to Geelong due to BS reasons which I’m legally not allowed to mention. So with Colac only having 1 Ambo, we decided to take myself in unbelievable pain the Geelong E.R by car, from where I was then admitted to Hospital for a few days, so as not to tie up the Ambo. We also had a return trip there again about a week after the initial, as I needed treatment again.
How is this fare to my family or myself when we pay a FAMILY membership each year and I am also on the DSP??? Let the Gov, C.A.H and a certain group of Dr’s dwell on that for a bit.

  2. The Colac Ambulance would have been tied up at this accident for quite some time which again proves the need for Colac to have two Ambulances available 24/7.

People should understand that if the Colac Ambulance responds to a cardiac arrest the first thing they will do is call for back up because four Paramedics must be on scene to administer the latest available drugs which can save a life.

In Colac’s case this means they call for Camperdown to back them up resulting in a 30 minute delay in the Paramedics being able to treat a patient with those drugs which reduces the chances of patient survival rates.

There is every reason for Colac to have two Ambulances and the CFA as “Back Up” First responders.

Meanwhile please continue to sign our Petition which will be presented to the government soon.

CosWEcount! Inc are in communication with the Health Minister and an Ambulance Adviser and we hope to succeed with our campaign to have two Ambulances available for Colac.

The CFA as back up First responders and end the Colac Hospital Ambulance abuse with the introduction of a NEPT fund which would stop Hospitals Statewide from using Emergency Ambulances for non emergency patient transfer.
