Pirron Yallock resident Angela Carter has embraced the Halloween spirit and decorated her home the Blue Church.

Angela said American Artist Christine McConnell inspired her to transform her home, at the intersection of the Princes Highway and Tomahawk Creek Road, into a Halloween haven complete with skeletons in the garden, tombstones and creepy crawlies.

She said she loved an opportunity to dress up and thought “having a church like ours we should celebrate these things”.

“We love to dress up, obviously we married as pirates at the church and anything that gives us an opportunity to get dressed up and decorate we’re into,” Angela said.
