Colac police officers should be working from a new $11.47-million station next year with Victoria Police submitting a planning application to Colac Otway Shire Council.

The existing Police Station was opened in 1980 not 1930
Thanks for your interest Liz. Our research indicates that the back part of the station dates to the 1930s, and the front part to 1978-79. The bluestone lock-up dates to 1861.
