The Country Fire Authority says fire restrictions aren’t likely to end until May after reviewing fire danger in the Colac district.
A grassfire in Maggios Road, Barongarook, on Monday highlighted the fire danger that has continued throughout March. Colac CFA’s Dean Manson said the incident proved that fire restrictions were still necessary despite recent rain in the Colac district.
