A man died this week after suffering a medical episode while driving on the Princes Highway at Winchelsea.

A Victoria Police media spokeswoman said police and emergency services attended the Princes Highway at Winchelsea on Wednesday evening following reports a car had crashed into a steel barrier.

“It is believed the driver, a 69-year-old Portland man, suffered a medical episode while driving just prior to the low-speed crash about 7.50pm,” she said.
