Senior sets example for younger drivers

Colac’s Doris Robbins, 88, has been driving since she was about 20, and still gets behind the wheel to pick up her grandchildren from school, or take fellow Mercy Place residents like Murray Anderson to appointments. Her driving experience has included years driving log trucks for her family’s sawmilling company.

Others might say an 88-year-old should not hold a driver’s licence, but there is perhaps nobody more qualified behind the wheel than Colac’s Doris Robbins.
