The Country Fire Authority’s Mark Billing has praised the first firefighters on the scene of a house fire at Gellibrand who managed to contain the blaze to an upstairs room.

Firefighters contained a fire at a Gellibrand home to one room on its second storey, but smoke and water has caused extensive damage to the property.
