Colac resident Phil Edge remains hopeful that the Australian Electoral Commission will reconsider a proposal to move Colac into the federal electorate of Wannon, and rename Corangamite “Cox”. The commission hosted a hearing into Corangamite’s future yesterday.

Just look at the conditions of the roads in the safe Liberal seat of Wannon they are a disgrace and this will be our future if we are forced into this. Look at all the safe Liberal or safe labor seats they take people for granted, the only reason why things are getting done around here like the Highway duplication is because Corangamite is a marginal seat.
