Four Colac Tigers footballers are in contention to represent Vic Country this weekend.

Young Tiger Ethan Floyd was a shock inclusion to the final Vic Country under-19 squad ahead of their Challenge Cup clash against the Victorian Amateur Football Association.

Floyd, who wasn’t in the initial squad, made his VFL debut for Geelong at the weekend and will feature in the match with former Colac junior footballer Jarrod Walters.

Fellow Tiger Adam Garner missed out alongside Winchelsea product Cassidy Parish.

Meanwhile, Vic Country senior selectors have reduced their squad to 29 players for the clash with Vic Metro at Ballarat.

Colac veteran Lochie Veale, midfielder Ryan Monaghan and young tall Zach Zdybel are all a chance to play against Country’s city counterparts under AFL legend Danny Frawley.

Luke Hillman and Camperdown footballer Jack Williams missed selection.
