The Colac District Football Netball League will have three junior football divisions in 2019 after a proposed restructure was made official last night.
The Colac Junior Football Review Proposal, which was released in September, put forward a host of changes to the structure of underage football in the CDFNL which the league will introduce next year.
Key changes include the creation of an under-13 competition in the CDFNL on Saturdays, while increasing the age limit for under-14.5s to under-15s and under-17.5s to under-18s.
The under-13 competition will replace the Friday night Colac Otway Under-12 Auskick league, while raising the under-14.5 and under-17.5 age limits would align the competitions with junior pathway programs and retain players in the short term.
