Alliance to advocate for highway upgrade

Scott Cavanagh says the Princes Highway West Action Alliance will continue to advocate for highway funding in the lead-up to next year’s federal election.

Princes Highway West Action Alliance spokesperson Scott Cavanagh says the alliance is disappointed the region’s key transport corridor received no state election funding commitments.

  1. They’ve all finally put their heads together, but it’s too little too late!
    There were already signs (1 west bound near old High School) put up by VicRoads announcing upgrades before this Alliance was announced.
    Also… An example would be the plans of an overtaking lane east of Camperdown, that were released within 48hr after an accident back in August (I think it was).

    Finally. Just remember that the LNP to date have had no plans of seeing anything other than a 2+1 Highway West of Colac, which may be better suited for parts between Warrnambool and Port Fairy… but a wasted effort the for rest of the way.
