Judges named the Banksia Drive residents as winners of the most colourful category of the ninth Colac’s Christmas Lights Competition.
First-time entrant Ashleigh Moloney of Bruce Street won the most unique category.
Judges liked the “simple but delightful” nature of the nativity scene in the Colac and District Historical Society’s window at COPACC and awarded it first place in the nativity category.
Murray Street Veterinary Clinic again won the business night category for their outstanding lights display.
Judges named joint winners in the business day category, with Simply Perfect Pieces – which has won each year – sharing first place with the “elegant and novel” display by new entrant Fabrics at 123.
