Almost 50 junior basketballers will get the chance to represent Colac in front of a home crowd this weekend.

The Colac Basketball Association will host its annual under-18 and under-16 representative tournament tomorrow and Sunday, attracting 25 teams from Ararat, Bellarine, Geelong, Maryborough, Port Fairy, Surf Coast, Terang, Warracknabeal and Warrnambool.

Tournament director Troy Parker said Colac’s Bluewater stadium would be packed over the weekend, with all matches scheduled at the venue.

“In the past we’ve had to use courts at the Colac primary and Trinity but it’s awesome to have all the games in one spot,” he said.
