Victoria’s shortened duck hunting season will start this weekend but a Colac birdwatcher against shooting says duck numbers are significantly lower than in past seasons.

Colac birdwatcher Adam Fry, above and below, says that duck numbers are significantly down ahead of this year’s duck hunting season. Mr Fry wants to see a stop to duck hunting in Victoria. He has been monitoring bird numbers at Lake Colac and reporting them to BirdLife Australia.
