Colac has had its wettest June in five years, with almost 90 millimetres falling across the month.
June 2019 was the wettest since 2014 with 87.5 millimetres, which rain watcher Rose Black recorded at her home in Colac’s east.
Ms Black’s measurements show a 7.5-millimetre increase in rainfall this June compared with June last year.
The last time rainfall exceeded this number in the month of June was in 2014 with 110 millimetres.
The Bureau of Meteorology recorded different measurements at Mount Gellibrand, with rain gauges recording a monthly total of 68 millimetres of rain with the highest rainfall on Sunday, with 18.8 millimetres falling.
