The CDFNL has released its 2020 football and netball fixture, with a historic Anzac Day weekend set to feature the first senior CDFNL football match under lights.

As mentioned in Friday’s Colac Herald, Lorne will host Irrewarra-Beeac under lights at Lorne’s Stribling Reserve on April 25.

Simpson is also set to host Birregurra at Colac’s Central Reserve that day, while the Colac Imperials will welcome the Western Eagles onto the newly redeveloped Western Oval.

The remaining two matches will be on the Sunday.

The season, which starts March 28, will also include three themed rounds, including the Love the Game round on May 2, Mental Health Round – in conjunction with traditional partners Beyond Blue and Kempe Read the Play – on June 13, and the TAC Towards Zero Round on July 18.

See Wednesday’s Colac Herald for the full fixture.
