Clubs to take responsibility of cricket points

Players like Stoneyford premiership star Savin Perera, who has under-19 World Cup experience, are ranked the highest at six points, City United recruit Jack Melican was worth three last summer after crossing from a rival CDCA club, while Colac West strike bowler Rob Thresher is a one-point player having spent at least five seasons with the club.

A Colac district cricket official says entering player points will be the responsibility of clubs, while the league works on creating an online system to police the new rule.
