A humpback whale and a pod of dolphins have put on a spectacular show off the coast of Apollo Bay, delighting a local fisherman and his family.

Apollo Bay fisherman Kyle Briggs, his wife Dana and their nephew Shae got close with a humpback whale and dolphins when the creatures swam towards their boat about 1.5 kilometres off the coast.
