“Due to an early response action plan and the precautionary measures undertaken the employee has not been present at the workplace since 17th of July.

“The Department of Health and Human Services have not deemed the business or its staff to be close contacts, although in the interest of the community and as part of an early response action plan, management made the decision to close the business on Wednesday evening and requested all staff be tested and isolate immediately. The premises has since undergone a deep clean.

“If you visited the Colac Motor Group at any time on the 16th July or 17th July and have any concerns or experience any symptoms, we encourage you to contact your health provider or public health authority and follow their instructions.

“The health & safety of our employees, their families, our customers and the entire Colac community remain our top priority.”
