Tigers give district young guns a chance to play

A host of the Colac district league's best young talents have joined the Colac Tigers' junior program, with hopes of playing in AFL Barwon's junior competition this year. Among the new Tigers are Lorne's Oscar Balderas, Western Eagles' Ollie McGuane, Alvie's Jacob Miraglia and Irrewarra-Beeac's Edward Dexter.

Colac Tigers junior coach Tom Simpkin says he is rapt his club could provide an opportunity for the region’s best young talent to hit the field this season.
