Three more Colac Otway people have recovered from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, with the shire’s number of active cases falling to 39.
The latest DHHS figures show the total number of cases is steady at 97, meaning there have been no new infections.
Surf Coast Shire is also steady, with five active cases, while Corangamite Shire has zero.
But case numbers have surged at Warrnambool, with seven active cases now in that city, while Greater Geelong’s number of active cases is now 159, up from 155 yesterday.
Across south-west Victoria, Ballarat has 24 active cases, Golden Plains has three, Glenelg Shire has five active cases and Moyne Shire has one active case.

Victoria has recorded 222 new cases of coronavirus since yesterday, with the total number of cases now at 17,238, of which 7274 are active. That is 200 fewer active cases than yesterday.
There have been 17 new deaths from COVID-19 reported since yesterday: One man in his 60s, one woman in her 70s, one man in his 70s, two women in their 80s, four men in their 80s, four women in their 90s and four men in their 90s.
