Colac Otway still has nine active COVID cases

Health authorities have removed a case from Colac Otway’s total COVID-19 tally, now listing 99 cases in the shire since the pandemic began.

But the number of active cases remains steady at nine.

Active case numbers continue to fall elsewhere in the region, with Surf Coast Shire now with only three active cases, 59 active cases in Greater Geelong and three at Warrnambool.

Ballarat is steady at six active cases, while the Corangamite and Golden Plains shires have zero.

The state has 2983 active cases, down from 3141 yesterday.

Victoria has recorded 94 new cases of coronavirus since yesterday, with the total number of cases now at 18,903.

There have been 18 new deaths from COVID-19 since yesterday: One woman in her 60s, one woman in her 70s, two men in their 70s, four women in their 80s, five men in their 80s, one woman in their 90s and four men in their 90s.
