No new COVID-19 cases in Colac Otway, with two recoveries

Colac Otway’s total COVID-19 case count remains at 109 with no new cases in the past 24 hours, while the number of active cases has fallen by two.

The latest figures from the Department of Health and Human Services list 87 active cases in the shire, down from 89 yesterday.

The Australian Lamb Company cluster is no longer on the department’s list of key outbreaks.

Surf Coast Shire’s number of active cases also remains steady at six, while Corangamite Shire has zero active cases.

Further afield, Greater Geelong’s active case count has grown by four to 168, and Golden Plains Shire has 11 active cases, down from 13 yesterday.

Warrnambool and Queenscliffe both have zero active cases in their municipalities.

Victoria has recorded 322 new cases of coronavirus since yesterday, with the total number of cases now at 14,957, with 7869 being active cases.

Of these, 640 cases of coronavirus are in hospital, including 48 in intensive care.

There have been 19 new deaths from COVID-19 since yesterday: one man in his 50s, one woman in her 60s, two men in their 70s, six women in their 80s, one man in his 80s, seven women in their 90s and one man in his 90s.
