One new COVID-19 case in Colac Otway

Colac Otway has recorded one new COVID-19 case in the past 24 hours.

The latest DHHS figures show Colac Otway has 24 active cases, up from 23 yesterday, with 121 total cases since the pandemic began, up from 120 yesterday.

Fifteen active cases are currently linked to Bulla Dairy Foods in Colac, with six confirmed as Bulla employees.

Surf Coast remains steady on one active case, and Corangamite Shire has one active case and Golden Plains has none.

Greater Geelong’s active case count has fallen to 19, down from 21 yesterday, while Warrnambool has two active cases and Ballarat also has two.

Victoria has recorded 63 new cases of coronavirus since yesterday, with the total number of cases now at 19,538, and 1872 are active, down from 1956 yesterday.

There have been five new deaths from COVID-19 reported since yesterday. One woman in her 80s, three women in their 90s and one woman in her 100s. Three of the deaths occurred yesterday, while two occurred before yesterday.
