Swans, Tigers confirm new date

Simpson's Brad Salmon and Alvie's Liam McGuane.

Alvie officials have confirmed their postponed round three matches with Simpson will go ahead during the Colac district league’s bye round in July.

A potential coronavirus connection, which was later found to be negative, forced league officials to postpone all grades of football and netball during the clubs’ match-up on Saturday.

The league left it up to the clubs to determine when, and if, they would play the matches at Simpson Recreation Reserve, with the clubs agreeing on the league bye weekend on July 3.

More to come.
