Tigers acted promptly, matches postponed

The Simpson Football Netball Club has acted promptly after a club person was identified as a close contact of a COVID-19 case.

AFL Barwon has released a statement, saying tomorrow’s matches have been postponed, rather than cancelled.

AFL Barwon has been made aware of a potential close contact at Simpson FNC, to a confirmed COVID-19 case.
This has resulted in the Colac & District Football Netball League deciding to postpone fixtures between Simpson FNC and Alvie FNC on April 24th. This will be all age groups of football and netball.
Simpson FNC have acted promptly and are following the correct process outlined by AFL Victoria.
AFL Barwon and the Colac & District FNL will continue to work closely with Simpson FNC, AFL Victoria and State Health bodies to ensure the situation is properly managed.
