Emergency services have issued a flood warning for Otways coast and hinterland regions as forecast heavy rainfall could overflow waterways late this week.
Minor flooding is possible from late today in the floodwatch area, which stretches the length of the Otways coast to past Port Campbell and inland to include Cobden, Simpson, Gellibrand, Barongarook, Deans Marsh and Winchelsea.
VicEmergency said it expected a low-pressure weather system to move slowly over Victoria on Wednesday and Thursday, before weakening and moving away on Friday.
River rises are expected from Wednesday afternoon in local catchments, with minor flooding possible.
