A dry year has forced Colac and district farmers to bring their cattle to market early, with one farmer describing the year as the “worst conditions” he’s seen in 70 years of farming.

Hugh Paatsch visited the Colac Regional Saleyards on Friday for the December store cattle sale which saw more steers and heifers being brought to market early due to the dry season in the south-west.
