Apollo Bay and Marengo historians’ prayers have been answered with an iconic beacon reinstated after the 160-year-old pillar was removed five years ago.
The pillar has been apart of the Marengo community for more than 160 years; now, the new beacon at Haley Point will keep the history of reef navigation in the Marengo area.
