Historical sport saving lives

Birregurra’s Deb Marshman is a breast cancer survivor who has found success and sanctuary in dragon boating – a ritualised sport that has helped many cancer survivors worldwide.

Dragons Abreast Geelong was formed in 2004. The current crew has people as young as 30 and as old as 80 taking part on the water, with events in February lined up for the Juggernauts to compete in.
