A SALES and marketing expert will visit Colac to help business owners boost their company profiles.
Geelong business mentor Martin Shirley will lead a free information session and one-on-one sessions with Colac and district business owners next month.
Mr Shirley has 40 years of experience in the transport, freight and logistics industries and has mentored businesses for more than five years.
He encouraged Colac and district business owners to find their niche market.
Mr Shirley’s mentoring sessions will include a diagnostic business check covering brand positioning, target markets, promotion, sales and financial management.
The sessions are part of Colac Otway Shire Council’s On the Front Foot for Business series.
The council’s business development officer Michael Swanson said the mentoring sessions would give people a new perspective on their businesses.
Mr Shirley will lead a free lunchtime information session at Colac Otway Performing Arts and Cultural Centre on March 1 and mentoring sessions are available by appointment with the council.
