WILD winter winds had trees shaking and tents flying throughout Colac and district yesterday, despite seemingly clear skies.

Colac district experienced wind gusts of up to 85kmh yesterday. A powerful burst of wind at Forrest’s Six-Hour mountain bike race lifted shade tents from the ground.
