Ok so if the DSE want compensation for the trees lost and we cant have a safe place to go in the event of a major bush fire, and people perish. Can we sue the DSE?
Why the hell do we have to pay the DSE 2.3 million dollars as “compensation” for the removal of the trees to make the stupidly named “safer places”? Was this worded wrong and it was meant to be paying the DSE to remove the trees? Our government stupidity will never cease to amaze me!
If it costs that much to remove a bunch of trees I will offer my services for half a million!!! I am a qualified Arborist. Could someone please explain this cost to me? Because at the moment it sounds like the DSE(a government department) is just going to make money from the government.
