  1. I haven’t taken a child to the doctor for years – if they get a cold they have to fight it off themselves as by the time they could get a appointment its gone anyway. My youngest has not been since he was born – he is now 9 years old. It’s not like you know in advance a kid is going to be sick, so the current delay is just hopeless. We don’t even try to get an appointment anymore.
    The only other child that has seen a doctor in recent years had to be taken to casualty as when ringing up the surgery to get him in i was told it was just gastro and he didn’t need to see a doctor. The five days in Geelong hospital proved that doctor wrong.
    If you really need to see a doctor in this town, go to casualty.
