A COLAC family has come within centimetres of death after an oncoming vehicle drove onto the wrong side of the road and clipped their car.

Colac's Tanya Jarvis, her husband and daughter had a lucky escape when a car on the wrong side of the road passed so close to them it clipped their side mirror.
