None of these!!! The only alternative is a fly over either above existing route or maybe the railway line.
And I’m sure Wendy Dennis and her family at Warncoort will have a lot to say about that orange line going through their historic homestead!
They can for get about following the Orange Route too! There is no way we are losing our dairy farm for business that were set up on the main road. That orange line goes straight through our actual dairy. If business’ want the traffic of the main road, move you business because we sure as heck aren’t moving ours!!! This farm has been in our family since this area was settled. We have fought through and survived everything the milk companies and mother nature has thrown at us. We will not be beaten by a bunch of bureaucrats, sitting in their glass towers in the city who have no idea of the impact their decisions have on us. A warning to all of you, be ready for the fight of your lives! Jack 500, we are with you mate.
let me make this perfectly clear, you will NOT be putting a bypass north of the lake just to please a few whinging shop owners and residents who don’t like the sound of trucks during the day,and who will complain when Colac looses business because the traffic is bypassing the town? the shop owners, we will fight this plan and take it to the highest court in the land, if you want a bypass why not do it along the railway line, or is that idea too simple?
