MORE THAN 250 people attended a Colac meeting to learn about a drug that “has ripped families and communities apart”, a Colac sports leader says.
Community meeting attracts large crowd
Colac Tigers Football Netball Club president Nick Lang, Colac Area Health’s Chris Kendall and Colac Tigers’ welfare co-ordinator Tamara Holmes led a community information meeting on the dangers of crystal methamphetamine or “ice” for young people. More than 250 people attended the meeting at Colac’s City Bowls Club where Mr Kendall gave a presentation. Colac’s police, emergency services and Colac Otway Shire Council supported the meeting.
