What is missed is counting the CO2e emissions from raw materials fabrication transport distant site including massive concrete foundations including transmission towers erection cables to hook to distant grid takes 10-14 yrs of operation to payback the emission in a 15 yr life cycle and then will they be dismantled. Colac Kana Festival’s committee is keeping a close eye on tomorrow’s weather conditions, with high heat potentially threatening the event.

According to the Bureau of Meteorology, Colac is expected to reach 35 degrees tomorrow, peaking mid-to-late afternoon.

“At this point in time, the festival is going ahead,” Colac Kana Festival president Brayden Smith told the Herald yesterday.
