COLAC and district people will have an opportunity to taste traditional Sudanese dishes while helping unite four orphans with their extended family.
Community plans pop-up restaurant
Margaret Hyde, Lynne Murdoch, Robyn Barrand, Hilary Hann and baby Anna Rongdit are in the rotunda where they hope to set up a pop-up Sudanese restuarant on Saturday. Money raised from the resturant will help bring four orphaned children, who are relatives of Colac’s Lual family, to Australia. Front, Rebecca Lual, Nyibol Lual, Nyaduor Dau, Noah Dau and Moses Rongdit will share Sudanese dishes to raise funds for the orphans’ expenses.
