A COLAC resident says a V-Line timetable change will “essentially be a loss of a service” for people commuting to Geelong for work.

I’m sure it use to run at the later time… about 20yrs ago, but not 100% sure.
It is a bugga that it messes things up for some, but that’s why I feel we should have more services running the line. Id say extra service in-between what we have would work. They wouldn’t have to be big trains, but I don’t know the current economics of it all either. But I do know\feel it would get the use if it was there!
As a commuter working in Geelong and living in Colac I welcome the change. While I sympathize with Mrs Slade, a service aimed at 9am starters is gong to be more useful to more people, the current setup means arriving over an hour early for the majority of Geelong commuters.
