THE VICTORIAN Electoral Commission declared Richard Riordan as the winner of the Polwarth by-election after officials finished counting votes yesterday.

Liberal candidate Richard Riordan, right, had the support of wife Catherine and son Alex on polling day for Polwarth’s by-election. Mr Riordan is set to become the Member for Polwarth after gaining almost 50 per cent of votes on Saturday.
