While I must congratulate the paper on the editorial including violence against males when talking about White Ribbon Day, reading articles that still stubbornly stick to the outdated idea that only women and children can be victims of domestic violence is disturbing.
When will it be accepted that all domestic violence is wrong? When will ambassadors be recruited that are against all domestic violence?
Where are the requests for female ambassadors? Or ambassadors that represent the LGBTQI community?
White ribbon day needs to represent all the community, not select sections. The voices that are not being heard are the ones that must be heard.
