TWO PEOPLE had a lucky escape after their car hit a truck east of Colac, ripping off the front of their car and dislodging the motor.

The passenger and driver of a Volkswagen sedan avoided injury after their car smashed into a truck causing the motor to roll 10 metres from the car.
